DESCRIPTION:

Oxilipida Capsule contains Red Yeast Rice extract and other ingredients with required excipients. Red Yeast Rice extract is the product of rice fermented with a type of yeast called Monascus purpureus. It contains a chemical called monacolin K which is identical to a statin drug and also known as lovastatin.

Red Yeast Rice extract is effective for High levels of cholesterol or other fats (lipids) in the blood (hyperlipidemia). Taking Red Yeast Rice extract by mouth can lower total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein (LDL or “bad”) cholesterol, and triglycerides. Additionally, the monacolin K may also help improve endothelial function, or the flexibility and adaptability of blood vessels, which is key to maintaining vascular and heart health. Therefore, it is also used for high blood pressure, heart disease, metabolic syndrome and many other conditions.
